Michigan Weekend - Badawest, Sharkey's, and a Hint of Flint
Our last full day of our mini-holiday was spent visitng a few of M's friends. I had already met one of them when she came to New York, so it was nice to see a familiar face. As usual, I was starving so we stopped in at Badawest, a Lebanese restaurant on Corunna Road in Flint.
That in the picture? Lamb kibbi, which should have been much better than it was. I shared the Vegetarian platter with M and it was wonderful. I got to try some of MB's fattoush, which is pretty much a salad with fried ground pita bread. I should have ordered that salad instead of the kibbi.
Turkish coffee. Wow.
On our way to Sharkey's. I have never seen so many dirt/gravel roads.
M and ________. To the left of the hockey table was a huge television... and a Wii!! I really need to get one. A modded Wii.
