Goodbye Yankee Stadium (slightly food related)

If you haven't been reading the news lately, Yankee Stadium closes tomorrow. Not to worry, the new stadium is right next door.

I was lucky enough to get to see them before Sunday. I got a call from my friend B on Wednesday. He had a free ticket and would I be interested in going?

Um... heck yea.

Our seats. I think they're better to other parts of the stadium I've sat at. And the added bonus is the chance at catching a foul ball.

The food court on the main level. You have your choice of grilled foods, Chinese, pizza, and Latin. I really didn't want Goya food, but it was the shortest line.

The roast pork meal, which comes with sweet plantains, rice and beans. The pork was on the dry side, but surprisingly good. If it wasn't so chilly last night, I probably would have been able to eat it all there.

It doesn't show in the picture, but I am freaked out about heights.

A closer shot of the field. This was right before security threw us out for taking too long to exit.

Oh, I'd take that seat if I could...
