Never had that stuff. It sounds good though. I love lox and sashimi so I assume it's good too.I don't think making your own will kill you. Just don't use salmon from some back alley and cure it in the fridge like they do here:http://www.cookingforengineers.com/recipe/132/GravlaxJames
