Supper Club Memories: Bailey's Smokehouse (Blauvelt, NY)
It was good while it lasted.
Supper Club, is no more. Looks like the gang found better things to do on Tuesday nights. Oh well.
Here are some photos from dinner last month. Actually, I think this is one of our last dinner that everyone made it to.
It's right off of 303, nearby Kahn's. It looks like a large bar, which it pretty much is... with good food to boot.
I don't drink PBR because it's cool. I drink it because it's cheap. And hello! it's wicked cheap at Bailey's. A bucket of PBR pinters comes out to... oh, I forget, but it is way cheaper than Olive's.
My friends S and D split an order of wings. Too messy for me.
Don't you just love places that have daily specials? Tuesdays at Bailey's is Prime Rib night- a nice sized portion of meat, a salad and two sides. The salad was lame, but I am so used to disappointing salads now. For my sides I picked potato wedges and collard greens. The wedges were seasoned and fried until golden yummy. The greens had just enough heat to get me to start sweating a bit. The prime rib was just a tad fatty, but it was SO freaking good. I wasn't able to finish it, but everyone else that ordered it (which was about everyone) demolished it.
What it looked like when I had it for lunch the next day.
