S and I went to the Vietnam for dinner last week.
We started with the egg rolls. Always a winner, but don't they look a little overcooked? Served with the spicy vinegar sauce, and some pickled carrot and daikon.
Pan friend chow fun noodles with beef in a brown sauce. OMFG, why did I never think of this before?!? Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside... and the sauce to sop up. S and I fought over the remaining noodles.
Chicken and vegetables in a ginger scallion sauce served on a bed of rice. Not bad, really like the sauce. Tastes very similar to the sauce that we get with stir fry lobster. Should I ask for the recipe, or should I just look for a bottle of ginger scallion sauce?
They have a website if you want to check them out.
