Catching Up

S had just returned from a nice long vacation in Greece when I sent him a message on Facebook asking if he was interested in hanging out one afternoon. He responded, and we decided to meet up later that day.

By the time we met up we were both pretty hungry, and since we were in the New City area, we decided to hit up Potato Republic. They're on Facebook now, btw.

I ordered the falafel wrap. It was edible, and that's about it. The falafel was overcooked and hard as a rock. S wondered if perhaps Potato Republic was under new management, but I doubt it. Just some carelessness on this order. I got a single order of fries and as usual, they were perfect.

On my urgring, S ordered the grilled salmon pita and paired it with sweet potato fries. He enjoyed it very much, and planned on ordering it again the next time he stopped in.
