I guess it’s official – apple picking season is over. I was in the car this afternoon and the reporter had mentioned that most orchards are just about picked out. The warm spring led to earlier harvests, and the storms that passed through this area didn’t help with the whole pick-your-own situation. But it does help with cider making… and I do love cider.
If you didn’t get the chance to go apple picking, why don’t you live vicariously through M and I? I didn’t post these pictures in my other entry about Altamont Orchards, so here they are. Not to mention video from that day.
And speaking of video, does anyone have suggestions for video editing software? I used to use Corel VideoStudio Pro, but it’s been crashing of late and I’d like to use something other than MovieMaker. JayCut seemed alright, but it has its issues.
