Happy Belated Birthday!!

to my friend K... who I haven't seen since I graduated from college.

To make it up to him, I of course drove into the city to have a few drinks. Well, just the one, because in my awesomeness I decided to show up fashionably late... and what do you know, they left the bar.

Not to fear, because they were just a few blocks away and we did the frustrating walk all over the East Village to find a hookah bar. We did find one. Can't remember the name, but it was fun. and K and I did have the obligatory brithday drink - Irish carbomb. I really like those... I can put away a bunch before it comes back to haunt me (I was good and just had the one).

Anyways, happy birthday dude... and no, I am no bully!

Fifteen in the Minivan Cab

Cab back to campus. Drunk frosh coming from Bogies/Michael's/Sadie's. Annoying as hell, espeically the one who kept insisting his right knee "blew up." At least it was a three dollar ride.

Not that I really wanted to go out, but since it was Cinco de Mayo, I figured I would for an hour... two at least. Last night's drinking escapades left me not waking up until 6PM, and quite hungry.

Stay in and watch the basketball game, or go to class?

It would probably be better to watch from a bar of some sort, but their game starts in fifteen minutes, and it's kinda early to start drinking.

Class I can always skip, but I have a quiz to hand in.
