I'm sure I'm not the only one out there. I tend to take plenty of pictures, but only a few make their way onto this blog. I upload them and all... but they get lost.
Take this cake. I remember taking this picture, but no recollection of posting it. And it was a very tasty cake too. A co-worker asked if I could pick up the food for her husband's surprise birthday party. And while I was out, could I pick up a cake too? No problem.
This is the Tiramisu cake from Rockland Bakery. I never had it before, but my my my... it is already chalked up as a favorite. It happened to be the last one left in the bakery, so to the others after me, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Instead of the traditional lady fingers, it looks like they used a sponge cake drenched in coffee and marscapone filling. Topped with whipped cream and strawberries, and lady fingers around the edge. Very rich and has me inspired to make something similar.
