Today's TMC Special; Collard Greens Version 1.0; An Election Update

• Today's TMC special is THAI HOT N' SOUR PRAWN SOUP
  

• Version 1.0: Canned tuna, sauteed shrimp paste, coconut milk, and more chili pepper flakes. Saute with olive oil until the tuna starts to crisp. Add coconut milk and cooked greens. Eat with white rice, or on its own.
  

• Polls have been open in New York for almost an hour now, and it is starting to shape up as a big election. I drove my mom over to our polling site and the placed was busier than usual. There was a line of cars behind me coming in, and based on what I saw in the parking lot, the voting demographic is radically different. It took my mom about half an hour to place her ballot, and that has never happened before. By  the time we headed out, the number of voters slowed down, but I can imagine what it's like in the other polling sites in the county.

• Don't forget about the election day freebies: free ice cream scoop at Ben & Jerry's, and coffee at Starbucks. Too bad their coffee is crap, I'd be all about that coffee.
