This Friday Exit 9 Wine and Liquor Warehouse in Halfmoon will be holding a cupcake and wine challenge. The bakeries participating are local and are as follows:
Bloomah’s Delights (Albany)
Bread Basket Bakery (Saratoga Springs)
Dolce & Biscotti (Clifton Park)
Fluffalicious Cupcake Truck (Albany)
J&S Watkins (Clifton Park)
Pink Sugar Cupcakes (Latham)
Schuyler Bakery (Watervliet)
Scratch Bakery Café (Albany)
Stomach Cakes (Queensbury)
Sweet Temptations (Loudonville)
The challenge is from 4 to 6:30 and those in attendance will get a chance to vote for their favorite cupcake-wine pairing. The winner will be announced at the end of the event.
I’m curious to see which wines they choose to go with these treats.
