Dinner with M at The Notty Pine Tavern. The last time we ate here was for the Yelp Tavern Time. I remember liking the pizza and wanting to come back. Kept it simple and ordered a COB style. How many other places make the COB style? I don't really look for it on the pizza menu, but I suppose I should since it's a local thing. Pretty good.
Their pasta menu is limited. Very limited. Angel hair, rigatoni, ziti. Not that I need anything fancy, but I was in the mood for spaghetti and meatballs, or in this case, angel hair and meatballs. Meatballs on the side in case M wanted some, but the sauce was a meat sauce, not marinara. Oh well. More for me. Meatballs tasted like they made them, but I don't eat meatballs all that often so I could have been tricked. Still, I would order it again.
