If you're in the Capital District, you might know what I'm talking about. If you're a frequent visitor of the Troy Farmer's Market, you've definitely have heard about it. If you're an RPI student, you're probably sick to death of it.
If you are a fan of Thunder Mountain Curry, you can have some during the week in the RPI Student Union. On the main floor, not the basement. I got the market platter, which what a heaping plate full of things I can't remember. There was definitely pakoras, chicken tiki masala, palak paneer, some lentil stewish thing, and a poppadum. $7.00 for the platter, and with tax comes to... 7 something. Still decent, and beats the other foods they have (I am so tired of grilled chicken wraps!) Surprisingly, there was nobody on the TMC line, and I saw maybe a handful of people with their food in the dining area.
If you're in the area, stop in for lunch. You'll have to correct me on this, but I think they're open for lunch 11:00am - 1:30pm and dinner 4:00pm - 8:00pm
