I stopped by Kim's Oriental Market yesterday to pick up a couple bags of kimchi (trust me, it will be gone in a week) and I saw this in the freezer. I probably wouldn't have noticed if it weren't for that all too familar Shoprite logo.
As you can see, this is the current logo. The one on the box is the older one, and I have not seen it in a while, which makes me think: just how old is this calamari?

hahaha that's awesome. that stuff can't go bad, right?
I want to say it'll never go bad, but freezer + frost bite = yucky food.
Who knows? Maybe Shoprite found the key ingredient that prevents mushiness and that nasty "previously frozen" taste.
